Adams Engineers and Equipment, Inc. was established in 1991 to sell plastic processing equipment in the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico by providing our customers with value added engineering services and process knowledge. Since then, the primary and auxiliary plastic processing equipment product line has been expanded to offer customers a broad range of equipment solutions. Adams Engineers and Equipment has proven to be a stable and reliable source of equipment and engineering expertise over time.

The sales engineers at Adams Engineers and Equipment have over 120 cumulative years of experience in the plastics industry, with an average tenure of 31 industry years and 13 years with the company. Each member of the Adams team has a background in one or more of the following areas: injection molding, extrusion processing, plant management, tooling and part sourcing, downstream extrusion equipment design and manufacturing, material handling and process cooling system design, and OEM equipment marketing. The primary sales territory includes Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and Northern Mexico.

 

Cliff Adams founded Adams Engineers and Equipment, Inc. in Tyler, Texas. He is an Industrial Engineering graduate of Texas A&M University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Cliff also holds an MBA from the University of Houston with emphasis in operations management and industrial marketing. Cliff is trained in Six-Sigma and LEAN management techniques. Prior to establishing Adams Engineers, Cliff managed a custom injection molding company; he also worked for a cable extrusion and connector injection molding company.

 

 

Arturo Bejar, a native of El Paso, Texas, is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Texas Tech University. Art joined Adams Engineers in 1999 to maximize his experience in medical device manufacturing and injection molding. Art has developed excellent customer relationships through effective project management skills. Fluent in English and Spanish, Art works closely with his customers along the Texas-New Mexico-Arizona border and in Northern Mexico.

 

 

 

Don Gruber recently joined the Adams Engineers and Equipment team. His extensive background includes training in technical service, sales, and manufacturing. Throughout his 4 decades of experience as a service technician, sales representative, and a regional sales manager for injection molding machinery and material handling equipment manufacturers, Don has developed the expertise to assess, optimize, troubleshoot, and repair plastic processing equipment.  Don has worked with many of the plastic processors in the Adams Engineers and Equipment territory and will be providing Technical Services as well as equipment sales. 

 

David Salls received an Industrial Engineering degree from Texas Tech University. Dave is originally from Greenville, Texas. He gained experience in the plastic processing equipment industry while working for an OEM of injection molding machines and extruders. He has been a member of the Adams Engineers team since 1992, becoming a reliable source of injection molding and extrusion process equipment for his customers in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and parts of northeast Texas.

 

 

Steve White has worked with Adams Engineers since 1991. Steve is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and has over 30 years of experience in the plastic processing equipment industry. He has developed expertise in extrusion down stream equipment design, as well as process cooling and material handling systems. Steve worked as an equipment design and applications engineer prior to joining Adams Engineers. Steve’s customers in north, central, southeast, and west Texas depend on him for plastic processing equipment solutions that deliver targeted return on investments.
