Shortly after Montreal-based company and extrusion equipment supplier Metaplast was purchased by one its competitors in 1997, 4 ex-Metaplast employees incorporated F.A.B.E Custom Downstream Systems, also known as CDS. Recognized for its robust, built-to-order machinery, CDS quickly established itself as a formidable supplier in the polymer extrusion industry.
10 years and 120,000 square feet later, CDS's portfolio of products have grown to include machinery and post-extruder systems for a vast array of pipe, profile and tube-related applications.
