Controls

The Conveying System Controller utilizes Power Over Ethernet (POE) technology for communication and powering devices, managed via Windows PCs server and up to 16 client computers or tablets for remote monitoring. POE Switch Panels form the FACS Machinery Network, connecting to remote device panels for system component operation, with dedicated FACS Panels for pumps, station groups, purge valves, and utility panels. Alarm visualization is handled by a configurable Annunciator Panel. Equipment groups are located near the main POE Switch for local operations, and additional remote POE Switches can extend network reach using Star Network Topography. FACS 4.E serves as a central supervisory system interfacing directly with machinery like dryers, crystallizers, blenders, and silos, offering an easy-to-install Windows-based platform with full graphic displays and extensive input screens for device parameter settings. Changes are logged, and Event and Alarm History reports can be produced on demand by production range.
